Kamiyama Sushi started in Aug 2000 with its first store in Lomita, CA-a small city surrounded by Torrance, San Pedro and Palos Verdes. Under the direction of Travis Kamiyama, (Executive Sushi Chef and co-owner ) Kamiyama Sushi has grown into the premier sushi take out and catering service in the South Bay.

Travis began to learn sushi at the age of 14, under the guidance and direction of several "itamae" chefs (Japanese culinary experts). His dedication to learning the art of sushi has taken him on a journey through several of the best Japanese restaurants, including Morisawa at Universal City Walk. With each restaurant experience honing more of his refined skills to what Kamiyama Sushi is today.

Since his childhood, he has had a passion for cooking and giving the very best to his family and friends and in Kamiyama Sushi he gives you the same.
